This quiet, smiling young man is a friend of mine. I’ve known him since he was about ten. He’s a hardworking man who, against all odds, cares for his elderly mother with unwavering patience and selfless love—year after year. He doesn’t need reminders from commercial holidays to know when to focus on her or show his appreciation. For him, every day is Mother’s Day, and every month is the month of love.
