The Golden Coqui (Coqui Dorado) is an indigenous tiny frog specie from Cayey, Puerto Rico who is believed to perhaps being eradicated due to increase commercial development in the area. It hasn't been seen since the 80's. This artwork depicts the imaginative moment when an adventurous boy stumbles upon the elusive Golden Coqui.
